Seattle Mariners name Don Wakamatsu as manager

Former MLB Catcher John Marzano dead at 45

He died Saturday after a fall down the stairs at his home. John was strictly a bullpen catcher, but he managed to stay employed at the Major league level for 12 years. Afterwards he went into broadcasting. RIP.... [Full Story]

One of baseball's oldest records fell when Ichiro Suzuki hit a ground ball up the middle against the Texas Rangers. That hit was #258 giving him the single-season hits record.
