And yes, that's ball on bone sound.
Young suffered a broken and lacerated nose. Considering the batter was Pujols, Young's lucky to be alive.

That was brutal. I don't know how any athlete/person could get back up there and throw another pitch.
Did you see Pujols crunch the catchers ankle while scoring later in the inning? One man wrecking crew; all by pure accident.
Padres are done, too many injuries.

Pujols took out two people in one inning. Thats Beast!. Young is a tough kid that probably felt like getting punched by 10 Mike Tyson's dead in the nose.
