Unbelievable! Dawgs to the Dance!

In one of the grittiest fights I have witnessed in a long time, the University of Georgia continued its unlikely run and won the SEC Championship.

Georgia started hot and built up a 19 point first half lead. But fatigue was starting to show before halftime and the Razorbacks had cut the lead to ten.

The opening minutes of the second half showed the Bulldogs were running on fumes and Arkansas drew within eight. Then on the shoulders of Terrance Woodbury, the Bulldogs pulled ahead by 13. The razorbacks refused to give up and after a couple of key Georgia turnovers and a timely three point shot, they pulled to within three.

Unfortunately for Arkansas, it took way too much time and like a Rocky Balboa who was clearly getting his ass kicked, the Bulldogs refused to go down.

The difference was three-point shooting; UGA was 7-16 and ARK was a horrible 2-17.

The real difference of course was guts. Georgia may not go very deep in the NCAA Tournament but that championship run was one for ages.
