Marquette Survives Kentucky 74-66

The Wildcats and Golden Eagles have met a record ten times in NCAA Tournament history and today's game did not disappoint. The first half wasn't a thing of beauty as both teams seemed off balance but Marquette did take a 33-29 score to the half.

The second half was a street fight. With 1:48 left, Marquette was clinging to a five point lead. By the time is ticked down to 38 seconds, Kentucky pulled to within three on a Joe Crawford 3-pointer from the top of the key (3 of his game high 35 points).

An unforced turnover by Kentucky with 10 seconds to play and the Golden Eagles clutch free throws late (six in a row) sealed the deal.
