T.O. May Not Play

Terrell Owens is reportedly not back from his high ankle sprain, and there's a chance he won't be able to go when the Cowboys take on the Giants in the playoffs this weekend.

"It looks to me that it's going to be a game-time decision on him," Dallas head coach Wade Phillips told reporters. "It's Monday game week. He probably couldn't have played today."

No T.O. would be a big, big problem for the Cowboys, who were having offensive struggles down the stretch even with Owens in the line-up. Then you consider how well the Giants have played their last two games against the Patriots and Tampa Bay. Could an upset be in the offing? And if the Cowboys did follow up their magnificent season by bowing out early in the playoffs, would Jerry Jones consider whacking Wade Phillips after one year and replacing him with Jason Garrett, a guy who's been mentioned in connection with coaching vacancies around the league?
