The Super Bowl. Beer. Food.
This is a football fan's trifecta of happiness.
For me, the Super Bowl is a Holy Day for Sinful Food. I shamelessly stuff my face with fatty, cheesy, dippy, oozy, completely bad for me food that would make my cardiologist's head spin off. And if it means I have to have an angioplasty afterwards, then so be it.
Since I've been really getting into cooking the last 2 years, and I am the chef around the house, I'm going to turn up the volume this Sunday and dish up something that sounds beyond mouthwatering:
Yeah, it's a Rachel Ray recipe. Annoying as she is, she makes really, really good food. And this one looked awesome on her show.
On top of the bake, I've been messing around with a chicken wings mix. (I'm still trying to turn up the heat. When I find the right mix, I'll fire off the recipe.)
Anyway, what you do you like to gorge on during the game? Any killer food we should all try?

If you want a heat source that will keep them coming back for more and won't over power the flavor, try some wasabi. It gives a good kick and then goes away leaving you wanting more.

Not a bad call on the wasabi, but not quite the taste I'm going for. But like the suggestion for cooking Chinese or Japanese.

Berry Martini:
3 parts Blu berry stoli vodka
1 part Midori melon liquer
1 part blue berry juice
1 part sweet and sour mix
splash of 7 up soda.
mix in martini shaker over ice and strain into frozen glass.
Tastes like punch, but it's potent!
Enjoy the game everyone.
