Rich Rodriguez is One Weird Cat

New Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez is being accused of destroying records from his 7 years as head man at West Virginia, including "all or most of the paperwork filed relating to every player on the Mountaineer roster and virtually all of the activities conducted by the programs over the past seven years." Several witnesses have said they saw Rodriguez and an assistant shredding papers the day after Rodriguez was introduced as Wolverines coach.

West Virginia recently sued Rodriguez for the $4 million buyout he owes them after he broke his contract to take the Michigan job. Rodriguez countered by claiming the university had itself reneged on the contract by not living up to certain "promises" they'd made him. And now the accusations that Rodriguez shredded all these records - on top of Rodriguez's slimy skulking around on the sidelines during Michigan's defeat of Florida in the Capital One Bowl.

Hey Bobby Petrino, you're not the biggest turkey in all college football anymore. How does that make you feel?

Seriously, what a scummy guy this Rodriguez is. Of course no one in Ann Arbor will care if he gets Michigan back to 10 wins and, more importantly, beats Ohio State.

Still, a little character from your head coach would be a nice thing, right?
