Pacman Jones can't stay out of trouble worth a damn. The latest accusation against the rainmaking NFL star: A woman claims he punched her in a strip joint.
"I was sitting in the office and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bodily harm," reads the victim Wanda Jackson's application for an arrest warrant. "Veronica Jones, an owner, went into the hall to deal with a member of his entourage. I followed to gawk. He was in the hall, surprisingly reached over or around a security guard and sucker punched me in my left eye."
The trouble was touched off when Pacman accused the club's managers of stealing his money and a bracelet. Why this would lead him to sock Jackson, an attorney who was in the club working on a divorce case, is anyone's guess.
A magistrate is expected to review Jackson's application on Feb. 8 to determine if the warrant should be filed. If the answer is yes, then Pacman Jones will be arrested for the seventh time since being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2005. That would give him 3 more arrests than interceptions in his brief but eventful NFL career.
