Man Jailed for Taping Packers Jersey to Son

I've heard of duct-taping geeks to goalposts, but taping a Packer jersey to your son? That's what some Wisconsin doofus did, and he got thrown in jail for it.

The idiot, Mathew Kowald of Pardeeville, claims he was only messing around when he restrained his 7-year-old son, then used adhesives to keep him from removing the Packers jersey he didn't want to wear. He said the boy was fine at first, and only got upset once he figured out he couldn't get loose.

"I didn't mean no harm," Kowald says, "and he knows that, but I haven't been able to tell him that."

Kowald's wife called police on him, providing them with cell phone pictures as evidence. He was jailed and released after paying a fine, and since then has had a restraining order slapped on him. Authorities say "other domestic issues" have surfaced concerning Kowald.

Shocker.
