If you are a high school kicker looking for a scholarship, just call Boston College.
When you go in at half-time with 130 more total yards, 7 more 1st downs than your opponent and a Heisman hopeful quarterback that has almost 200 yards and no interceptions; you should feel pretty good, right?
Not if you are tied at 16 with a team that you have clearly out-played for 30 minutes.
The second half was a complete train wreck for the Eagles and the Hokies took advantage with two late touchdowns to seal the deal.
When you have no kicking game, you are forced to go for it on 4th down and when you turn it over on downs three times, you are in trouble. Couple that with two second half interceptions and you have 5 turnovers. It is very tough to win any conference championship with 5 turnovers.
Virginia Tech won but not convincing enough to jump anybody in the polls. So, they are probably headed to the Orange Bowl.
Given today's performance, the Hokies have to be concerned about playing any BCS team in the Orange Bowl.

All I'm gonna say is...how can Texas be ranked 20th when the Aggies beat the pants off of them last week? This should tell you all you need to know about the pathetic BS at BcS.
