Per Adam Schefter of NFL Network (via PFT)...Terrell Owens is most likely going to miss the last game of the regular season after suffering a high ankle sprain during last night's Cowboys victory over the Carolina Panthers. This may or may not be a big deal to Dallas - it all depends on whether they need next week's game to secure home-field throughout the playoffs.
T.O., of course, spent the entire week joshing about Jessica Simpson's alleged impact on the concentration of QB Tony Romo during the loss to Philly. I don't want to start throwing off wild speculation, but I think it's possible that Simpson is a voodoo priestess and she put some kind of hex on T.O. and that's why he got hurt.
Of course, if Simpson really were a priestess, she probably would've done something about the box-office for her new movie Blonde Ambition, which was shown on 8 screens in Texas this weekend just so the studio could call it a real theatrical release before putting it out on DVD. The movie reportedly made $384 for a per-screen average of $48 (a somewhat less-impressive performance than National Treasure 2 which will reportedly make around $54 million for the weekend). My question is: If you want to draw people to a Jessica Simpson movie, why the hell show it in Texas where everyone hates her? Would've made more sense to release it in Philly, Washington and New York.
