San Antonio - Dallas Showdown (Wizbang Sports)

This is always a game that means something even this early in the season. The Spurs are 15-3 and undefeated at the AT&T Center but will be playing tonight without nine time all-star Tim Duncan who bruised his right knee and sprained his right ankle in Sunday's 21 point blowout of Portland.

Dallas beat San Antonio on November 15th. Whether that was the Maverick defense or the poorest shooting night of the season for San Antonio is unclear but the Spurs need to greatly improve over 40% from the field to stay in this game.

The Vegas lines have Dallas by 3.5-4 points. The last 5 minutes will determine the outcome in this hotly contested battle.
