Russell Makes Debut with Raiders

The Oakland Raiders' #1 overall draft pick, quarterback JaMarcus Russell, entered today's game against the Denver Broncos, relieving starter Josh McCown. So far, so good for the kid.

This marks the beginning of a new and winning era in the once-proud Raiders franchise.

Oh, who am I trying to kid. We've got a helluva long way to go. But it's a start...

UPDATE: OK, no sooner had I posted this news, McCown is now back in the game. Coach Lane Kiffin is schizo. Pick somebody! Jiminey Christmas....
