Papelbon's Dog Destroys World Series Ball

Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon kept the final out ball from this year's Red Sox World Series winning game. Unfortunately, the Riverdancing wacko left the ball where his dog Boss could get at it, and now the dog has reportedly destroyed the historic piece of Boston memorabilia. Papelbon told his hometown Hattiesburg, Mississippi newspaper:

My dog ate it. He plays with baseballs like they are his toys. His name is Boss. He jumped up one day on the counter and snatched it. He likes rawhide. He tore that thing to pieces.

I'll keep what's left of it.

Boss has a definite talent for ball-chewing there. I think it could be put to good use on people like Curt Schilling.

Curt Schilling is a class act in baseball, one of the few. So I'm wondering what your real issue with him is. If it's the reason I think it is, it's YOU who the chewing could be put to good use on.
