Michigan Again Rebuffed

Michigan football must feel like that guy at the bar who can't get any action. They've already tried making advances toward hot, sexy (in a coaching sense - nothing weird going on here) Les Miles and gotten rejected, and now they've tried putting the moves on Rutgers head man Greg Schiano only to be left lonely and crying in their beverage one more time.

The Les Miles one wasn't so bad - he was sort of out of their league anyway - but Greg Schiano? The coach of Rutgers telling Michigan thanks but no thanks? What is the college football world coming to when a guy doesn't want to move from Rutgers to Michigan? That would be like hitting on some plain, flat-chested chick, thinking you're in for sure, and having her dump beer on your head.

I don't know what Michigan is going to do now. At this rate they might have to settle for Kirk Ferentz or something like that. Or, I suppose they could always make a play for Nick Saban - you know what a giant slut he is.

They go after Les Miles aft... (Below threshold)
Ron:

They go after Les Miles after the championship game, that's what they do.

His buyout is the same as it was in the old contract, but his bonuses for winning against Ohio State were boosted. It's a win for him to beat Ohio State and he can still leave LSU anytime Michigan wants to pony up the $1.5 million buyout.
