Giants In Playoffs

The New York Giants have done just about everything in their power to cough up the playoffs again this year, including lose last week in brutal fashion to the Redskins, but today they turned their fortunes around in the rain and wind and snow of Buffalo, defeating the Bills 38-21 to clinch a berth in the post-season.

It looked for all the world like the Giants were done after last week's ugly loss, which featured Eli Manning throwing the ball over 50 times. But the Giants obviously learned from that mess because today Eli threw only 15 times (still managing to get picked off twice), while Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs combined for 296 yards and 3 TDs on 41 carries. So there you go Giants - render Eli nearly irrelevant by running the ball and you might even have a chance to beat somebody in the playoffs.
