Dolphins Stay Perfect

The Miami Dolphins' quest for a perfect 0-16 season is still alive after today's 40-13 home loss to the New York Jets. The Phins were actually competitive early, trailing only 7-3 after the first quarter, but the Jets then went nuts.

Cataloguing Miami's futility: 37 rush yards on 18 attempts. 177 pass yards for QB John Beck but 0 touchdowns, 3 interceptions and 3 fumbles, 2 lost (Jeff Beck could've played better, plus there'd have been a kickin' guitar solo). On the bright side...uh...I'll get back to you.

Wow, what a craptastic stat... (Below threshold)
Peter F.:

Wow, what a craptastic stat line by Beck!

Know how to rub salt in a Dolphins fan's wound? Utter these two words: Drew Brees.

Mna, if Miami can just keep... (Below threshold)
MunDane:

Mna, if Miami can just keep their eyes off the prize, fail to execute and do all those little things that help them to lose, then they can have the holy grail, 0-16!
