Yes, the Patriots won again - rather handily, over the Pittsburgh Steelers. This means New England is only three wins away from the first 16-0 season ever. Their remaining opponents are the woeful New York Jets, the beyond-woeful Miami Dolphins and the not-woeful New York Giants, who may or may not be playing for their post-season lives at that point (probably not, given that they have a chance to clinch a berth as early as next week). The Pats have already beaten the Jets and Dolphins once each this year - they took down New York 38-14 in week 1 (in the game that led to Spygate), then in week 7 they dismantled Miami 49-28. There's no reason to believe that their second meetings with those teams will not lead to similar results. That would leave them 15-0 going into that season-ender against the Giants. I have no doubt that Bill Belichick will go for the perfect season if it's there for him - a guy who's shown a willingness to run up the score at every opportunity, wanting to not only beat teams but destroy them, will not hesitate to leave his starters in even if home-field has been clinched. A motivated Patriots team, with history in their grasp, will not - I repeat not - be defeated by a second-tier NFC opponent. So, I guess that means I'm picking the Pats to run the table, and achieve the only perfect regular season since the NFL went to 16 games. A tremendous accomplishment by any measure, but especially so given everything the NFL has done in recent years to ensure parity. I'm sure Bill Belichick, in the wake of Spygate, would love nothing more than to stick it to the mediocrity-loving NFL powers-that-be, validating his own coaching greatness in the process.

As hard as it is to say this, New England has a problem with one of their upcoming games. The last three years has seen this team beat NE late in the year.
The Miami Dolphins. A december monday night game in 2004, the season finale in 2005, and a week 14 game(the last time Miami won) in 2006.
Don't laugh too hard.

It would be a hoot to see both teams blow a streak at the last week!
Remember, it's just as hard to run the table in reverse; don't under estimate the power to win a game.
