Red Sox Eyeing Santana

ESPN's Buster Olney reports the Twins and Red Sox are discussing a deal that would send Johan Santana to Boston in exchange for a package including CF Coco Crisp, SP Jon Lester and minor league SS Jed Lowrie, and maybe pitching prospect Michael Bowden.

Olney also raises the possibility that Boston is trying to bid up Santana's price, forcing the Yankees to part with more players in any deal with the Twins. Whatever is happening, it looks like the Twins are going to make out well. And oh yeah, so is Santana, who's expected to ask for 6-years/$150 million from whatever team acquires him.
