Here we go. Week 13 picks. As always, keep your arms inside the car and don't feed the rattlesnakes...
Green Bay at Dallas. I'm taking Dallas. Which means the NFC title game will probably be played in Texas Stadium. So I guess I'm taking Dallas to make the Super Bowl. Sorry Cheesebrains - maybe next year.
San Diego at Kansas City. Flip a coin on the Chargers showing up for this one. Maybe it being a division game will motivate them. I'll take KC anyway.
Houston at Tennessee. Titans are fading. I think they can take Houston at home though.
Jacksonville at Indianapolis. Jags roll into Indy and beat Colts. And it's not an upset.
Buffalo at Washington. Both schizo teams. The Redskins will either be motivated by Sean Taylor's death or ruined by it. I feel icky for having to work someone's untimely demise into a silly NFL pick. I'll take Buffalo.
San Francisco at Carolina. Vinny will start for the Panthers, as reported by that other guy named Danny. San Fran finally looked alive last week in beating the Cards. I'll take the Panthers at home, fueled by pride.
Detroit at Minnesota. The Lions are going south. The Vikes have Adrian Peterson back though not at full-speed. I'll take Minny.
N.Y. Jets at Miami. The Dolphins get their first win of the year against Manjerkoff and the Jets.
Atlanta at St. Louis. My God is this a stinker. I'll take the Rams only because I have to take someone.
Seattle at Philadelphia. Dr. Feeleygood showed what one motivated back-up can do against the Patriots - play great and still lose. Philly takes down the uninspiring Seahawks at home.
Cleveland at Arizona. The Browns are now at the point where we expect them to roll into a place like 'Zona and whup up on the Cardinals. Which is why they won't. Cards win.
Denver at Oakland. Denver seems to be running in place. I'll take the Raiders for the heck of it.
New York Giants at Chicago. Were the Giants exposed by the Vikings last week? Will Eli Manning recover from his miserable performance. With the Giants kick to Devin Hester? Bears win at home, probably in a snowstorm.
Tampa Bay at New Orleans. Significant game in that division. The Saints keep trying to come back to life but always stumble. I'm taking them at home but I'm not confident. Garcia being out should help them anyway.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh. Hopefully the field will be in playable condition. The Steelers have been uninspiring the last couple of weeks and Cinncinati actually showed up last game. Dare I take the Bengals in an upset? I dare.
New England at Baltimore. The Eagles showed how to effectively throw the ball against the Pats. The Ravens, unfortunately, can't throw the ball period. So the Pats win.
