McNabb Injured; Eagles Beat Hapless Dolphins Anyway

Donovan McNabb sprained an ankle early in the Eagles' match-up with Miami and had to leave the game. A.J. Feeley then came in, and led Philly to a 17-7 win over the utterly helpless Dolphins. Brian Westbrook, who was questionable coming into the game, ran for 148 yards, but uncharacteristically caught only one pass all day.

The John Beck era began inauspiciously for the Dolphins. The new starting QB, who looks like Brad Johnson's little brother, completed only 9/22 passes for 109 yards and 0 TDs. Beck did however manage to avoid throwing an interception, so that's something.

The Dolphins now fall to 0-10. A quick look ahead at their schedule shows two realistic chances for the team to avoid the first 0-16 season in NFL history - Dec. 2 at home against the terrible Jets and Dec. 30 at home against a Bengals team that by that point will have surely packed it in.
