LSU, Kansas Top New BCS Rankings

bcsmonkey3.jpg

LSU and Kansas would be matched up in the National Championship game were the season to end today. Of course the season doesn't end today, which means there could be two completely different teams sitting atop the BCS by the time that game is actually played.

I imagine Missouri fans are the most irritated with the new rankings. Mizzou went up one spot from 5 to 4 over last week, but got leap-frogged by West Virginia, who went from 6 all the way to 3. Ohio State is also back in the top 5 after their win over Michigan. Now the Buckeyes get to sit there doing nothing while the other teams battle it out.

Arizona State, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Oregon and Oklahoma round out the top 10.

The monkey has spoken - now give him his damn banana.

Imhotep:

MIZ-ZOU....RAH!

F'ing BCS! I was shocked to see the LATE released BCS pol; I am a homer, but hell, when was the last time I could be a legitimate MIZZOU homer!

Go Tigers!

BTW, I will post pro-MIZZOU comments until Saturday, 10 pm PST.

(Note the time change.)
