Jags Beat Chargers

The Jaguars continue to do what people expect. The Chargers came into their place today looking to follow up their big win over Indy but the Jags were having none of it, beating San Diego 24-17. David Garrard came back for Jacksonville and had a nice efficient game, throwing for 189 yards and 2 TDs. The Jacksonville D picked off Philip Rivers twice and held LaDanian Tomlinson, who is not showing up much against the better run defenses this year, to only 62 yards and 1 TD (he did manage 93 yards as a receiver).

Jacksonville is now 7-3, just one game behind Indy in the AFC South. And with Indy continuing to struggle, who knows - there could be a shift in the balance of power in that particular division.
