Bears Lose Benson

The Chicago Bears will be without Cedric Benson for the remainder of the season, after it was learned the running back would require surgery to repair a lower leg injury suffered in yesterday's crazy win over the Denver Broncos.

The Bears, who had no offense to begin with, are now down to The Other Adrian Peterson and Garrett Wolfe at running back. Great move trading Thomas Jones, Bears. I don't suppose Neal Anderson would be ripe for a comeback. Or maybe Rashaan Salaam or Curtis Enis.

And no, Devin Hester can't play running back.
