After surviving 7 hours of the NFL Draft on a bag of carrots and soda, I went out for a Wendy's Steakhouse Double Melt. Seriously, I was drooling every time I saw the commercial, and not because of the hot chicks. Carrots are cool for a snack, but I'm a carnivore. [Side note: Do you find it odd that Wendy's is offering a 2-week introductory offer to Curves? What is this - calorie offsets?]
Being a Dolphin fan, I'll start there due to the negative fan reaction to the draft. The Sun-Sentinel has links to video showing Cam Cameron and Randy Mueller justifying the pick to Dolfans.
The Cleveland love-fest continues. From skimming the articles, the fans and press at the Cleveland Plain Dealer seem encouraged about the upcoming season. But, that's the beauty of the NFL - every season every team has a chance, right? At least until about week 4. I'm still betting that New England gets a top 10 pick from the Brady Quinn trade.
If first impressions mean a lot, Lane Kiffin has some serious credit built up with Raiders fans already. After a few years in the doldrums, it looks like the excitement is back at the Oakland Tribune. Maybe Al Davis knew what he was doing when he gave the young guy a chance.
Speaking of young, new coaches, Atlanta fans look like they like the Falcons' first round pick. WARNING: you have to register to get on the Atlanta Jounal-Constitution's website. But the poll on the left hand side has a 52% approval rating from fans for Jamaal Anderson as the 1st rounder. Not a bad start for Bobby Petrino.

Now that the Draft is over, let's see some SIGNINGS by the Teams.
I am sick of players holding out of camp to get money.
Who do you think will be the longest QB holdout, Quin or Russel?

I's like to think that Quinn won't hold out due to his long sit at the draft. I think he will jump on his offer.......

It is unfortunate that the players hold out. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of the players and when they hold out fans miss out. If they miss a lot of training camp they tend to either get hurt, or a minimally effect.

Sometimes those who holdout never recover. Heath Shuler had a lot of potential, but never lived up. In my opinion, he was handicapped by what he missed during his long holdout.
