Guillen's Homosexual Slur Angers Gay Community

As reported at PageOneQ...

Illinois gay rights activists are upset that Chicago White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen, pictured in photo, used anti-gay slurs during an interview, news outlets have reported today. When speaking about Chicago Sun-Times Journalist Jay Mariotti, Guillen told a reporter, "What a piece of [expletive deleted] he is, [expletive deleted] fag.

Guillen is no stranger to controversy, previously linking causing a stir with an off hand remark equated that many interpreted as equating being gay with being a child molester.

Guillen attempted to explain that in his home country calling someone a 'fag' is not about sexual orientation, but about a man's courage. It should be noted that Guillen has been in the United States for twenty five years and is now a citizen, so his protestations ring a bit hollow. On Mariotti he's remain steadfast in his assessment that "he's a shit."
