Last week, NFL.com reported that the 49ers have traded backup QB Ken Dorsey and an undisclosed 2007 draft pick for current Browns backup QB Trent Dilfer, who lost his starting job to (now) second-year QB Charlie Frye.
According to the Browns' website, there are currently six QBs on the roster, and aside from Dorsey and Frye, I've never heard of any of them. By the time the season starts, they'll be down to three QBs -- four, at the outside. Now, unless Charlie Frye has made some strides in the off-season that no one paid attention to -- which is entirely possible -- I don't know that he'll be able to do more than manage the offense. Admittedly, I didn't see a lot of Browns games last year. But I know Romeo Crennel isn't a fool; if he thinks Frye has the tools to win games, then he probably does. I just hope this works out.
At least Frye will now have the most excellent Joe Jurevicius to throw to -- and I'm not just saying that because he saved my fantasy team more than once last season.

As a social worker working with mentally ill children, I am no stranger to the medicating of them. But, this NYT piece regarding the side effects of stimulant medication really had me upset.
