Phoenix Rising

The Phoenix Suns has been impressive over the last 2 years, thanks mainly for Steve Nash. Do I smell another MVP? No doubt, Nash has carried this team throughout this season, which Amare had been a no show. Last year, we saw this promising team got their baptism over the Spurs. This year however is a different story. The Suns have improved their defense and as usual playing a powerful run and gun offence. Another point is how coach Mike D'Antoni adjusted his mighty team. From a sour departure of Joe Johnson, coach D'Antoni made Boris Diaw a mighty fine defensive player. Even playing him at #5 position.

We all saw early In the season how effectively Diaw covered Yao Ming. That's a mighty gem in the Suns starting lineups folks. Now that STAT(Amare) is back in the lineup, expect the rim to be rocking hard in the Valley of Suns. Don't also forget Shawn Marion, that kid is having a great year this season I predict that this could be the year where the Suns might make it all the way to the FINALS( not as Champs yet) They have the right personnel. Not to disrespect the Western Standouts like Spurs and the Mavericks. But both of those teams are just 1 injury away from making it. I don't think Spurs would win it this year. That's just one of my pre-dictions people.

Yup, playoffs just around the corner now. No looking back, its crunch time. Every players dream. Where legends are made, that's the playoffs! I just hope no one scores 81 points again!

Bro,

Your post time is April 6th, exactly 24 hours after STAT (Amare) got his other knee scoped for a cyst. That dude is out for this year and maybe his career!
The Suns will get through the first round of the playoffs, but will be Eclipsed in the second.

The clock can't be right here. So when did you post this?

Maybe not an NBA Finals tea... (Below threshold)
Borikwa23:

Maybe not an NBA Finals team due to Amare getting hurt again but Phoenix is still a team to be dealt with and I hope they crush the Lakers.
