Steve Nash returns for Suns Win

Steve Nash recovered from his ankle sprain that kept him out of Thursday's loss to San Antonio. Saturday night he contributed 31 points and 11 assists on the way to 110-102 win over Minnesota.

Nash is showing why he was named MVP last year, and making a run for a repeat. Many believed that the Suns would plumet after J. Johnson and Q. Richardson left, but Steve Nash has proven he truly is the league MVP by leading the Suns to a 43-18 start and a 7 game lead over the Clippers for the Pacific Division.

He was cleared to start practicing 5 on 5 about 2 weeks ago! He should be able to make it into the playoffs, but would that be good or bad adding a player around playoff time? I think it couldn't hurt, the Suns are good at adding people into the mix. Look at the new addition of Tim Thomas, hes fitting right in.

No, just because Bryan Colangelo goes to Toronto dosn't mean he will follow. When Nash began looking to join the Suns it wasn't Bryan that was the reason for him joining. If anything he joined because of Rex Chapman's effort to recruit him and their friendship, but Nash didn't get traded to Minnesotta when Chapman went there.

Sir Dunkafunk:

The Suns will have Amare Stoudemire back tonight in the line-up. It's his season debut after knee surgery. Amare was selected to the All-NBA Second Team and All-Dunkadelic First Team and MVP for the 2004-05 season. I glad to see Amare back on the court he's the most explosive power forward in the NBA.
