Seven teams teams start today. In the American league it's Detroit, LA Angels (or whatever a judge decides their name should be), Seattle, and Texas. National League teams reporting today are Chicago, LA Dodgers, and San Francisco. Full squads will all be in camp by February 24th.
The Detroit Tigers spring training facility is just about fifteen minutes away from my home. Less than ten minutes from work. Perhaps this year (my fourth spring in Florida) work and other obligations will permit me to attend more than one or two games which will start on March 1st.
