#4 Off Season NFL Power Rankings

If you're just starting to follow Bronczilla's Off Season Power Rankings, the #1, #2 and #3 Power Rankings can be read by following those links.

The number in parenthesis represents the number of points each team has. Teams began these power rankings in their first week with a number of points inverse to their standing in the rankings.

For example, the Patriots began as the #1 ranked team, so they started out with 32 points.

Transactions and the number of points granted this week for each transaction are listed beneanth each team's name and ranking.

. . .

5. San Diego (29 pts)

+1 Signing Safety Bhawoh Jue -- San Diego seems to be following a Patriots style building plan, bringing quality depth rather than big name stars. After watching what they did last season I have assume that, like Bill Jerkichik, Marty and his management posse know what they're doing.

6. Patriots (25 pts)

-1 Loss of OG Joe Andruzzi -- A weakened O line could make QB Tom Brady look human and RB Corey Dillon look his age.

. . .

18. Panthers (15 pts)

+1 Signing OG Mike Wahle from Green Bay.

19. Giants (15 pts)

+2 Signing LB Antonio Pierce away from Washington -- Not only did they upgrade their own D, but they stole a key player from a Division rival. Sweet.

+1 Signing RT Kareem McKenzie from the NJ Jets -- The Giants are a team with huge needs along the O line. This is a nice start.
