Darius Fined $75 Grand

Jacksonville's Donovin Darius was fined $75,000 for his clotheslining of Green Bay Packers wide receiver Robert Ferguson.

Darius has no history of dirty play. He doesn't appear to be the NFL's version of Ron Artest. I don't care if he's making $4 million a year, 75K is still a good chunk of change. This is an appropriate punishment.

If Ferguson comes back from that blow we should immediately declare him the NFL's toughest man. Realize that despite the pro-wrestling move Darius put on him he never dropped the ball. Now, that's tough.
