Jake Plummer spent most of the game with a completion percentage under 50. He ended the day at 58.6% with 2 TDs, saving me from an aneurism even while tossing two balls to guys wearing the wrong color uniforms.
The other Jake, that Delhomme guy playing QB for the Carolina Panthers, maybe seems to have had a poor day, completing just 13 passes. The problem is that he only threw the ball 20 times. Denver’s #2 ranked passing D allowed him to complete 65% of his attempts. They also allowed 4 passes of 20 yds or more.
Aside from that, Denver’s performance overall was excellent.
