Well, once again, the dawn of a new day has shown the extent to which CNN (and other media outlet) puppet newscasters are being manipulated by the McCain media staff. It turns out the "hot news tip" was just more Republican bullshit lies... Updated: More manipulation is coming tonight,

Sadly, Adam, I am but slowly and only now coming around to the world of the mindless, drooling masses who spend too many of their waking hours staring slack-jawed at their televisions as they frantically thumb video controllers.
Even more sadly, most of my friends are of the same sorry ilk.
So, while this earth-shattering news has been moldering for the past few weeks within the red-eyed circles of ye slavering, gaming zombies, we poor wretches (along with the sources of our news) lag miserably behind.
For give us, may God have pity upon us, and may this article be for us.

I wasn’t expecting a corduroy of degrading remarks considering I always find this site up to date in news, interesting, and not negative. Perhaps this post was entirely sarcastic from its inception. That being said, there’s a lot of news that I don’t have a large affinity toward, but hear about. Maybe this post should have never been made since it was so late in reporting, as you don’t care about it, and people that do don’t care to hear about it now. I am more than a little confused with your brazen demeanor.
Thanks for not only making assumptions but coupling it with insults on your audience.

And I must thank you for being both demeaning and condescending in your original post. If you’re one of the slack-jawed, drooling masses already aware of this news, cool. But don’t come acting like anyone who has a life away from their game controller is stupid.
Some of can enjoy gaming with out becoming obsessed with it.
While you were busy trying to show us all how smart you are and how stupid I am, you failed to notice that the linked article was dated August 31st. The same day as I posted my own piece. I guess the people who are actually paid to cover this stuff are out of date, too. Why don’t you send them one of your smug, self-righteous bits of whining. I’m sure they’ll give a damn about your opinions to at least the same degree that I do.
Considering that Madden has only been out a short time there are plenty of people unaware of the pricing differences that have only been introduced this year, and of the reasons for those differences.
Don’t come looking to pick a fight, then cry like a sissy when you get what you were looking for.

My main point, which was not an attempt to be a flame as this has turned into, is that I always enjoyed Sportsblog for its quick updates and accuracy, while this story has been known well before the release date for the mentioned games and received much press, gaming news media and others included. You know, like that little cable and internet broadcast known as CNN as well as sports news outlets. Your defense? That the websites you check show outdated news. You have clearly defeated me with your excellent reporting.
Also, I am not ‘crying like a sissy’, but apparently I am being the only mature one here as I’m not using logical fallacies. And why are you so determined as to label me as an obsessed gamer instead of just admitting how well known this news was weeks, bordering on months ago, and move on with it? Immediately, after a post that was one dozen words, you felt so compelled to defend yourself and attack me with self made labels, which shows an obvious admittance of guilt on your part.
I’m sorry I come off as smart or pretentious, but I do look forward for you response as I just can’t wait to see if you will use ‘slack jawed’ again.

If you can't do anything but repeat what you've already said, why continue to cry like a sissy with your flaming rant? In hopes of having the final word? You’ll just keep on flaming until I’m sick of going in circles and you can claim victory by virtue of putting up the last comment in this discussion?
The "web site" I use? You mean the Charlotte Observer, a real hold it in your hand newspaper, where games are actually submitted for such reviews? Again, if you have a problem with them and their timeliness, whine to them.
The news was only old within the community of slack-jawed, obsessive gamers. My article was not written for them, as I've stated already. If you don't care for it, don't read it, and certainly don't obsess over it as you're obviously doing.
OMG, Adam heard a bit of news ten minutes before I did! I better check with him in the future to see if it’s still ok for me to write about it. By God and all His angels, I’d certainly not want to raise Adam’s ire by seeming untimely in his exalted eyes.
Is it ok if I use the email address you posted to these comments when I seek your permission before posting my next article? If not, please, PLEASE, I beg you, let me know where I should send all such requests.
I shudder at the mere thought of again meeting with your disapproval. I couldn’t bare for it to ever happen again.
Now, has the news been out for weeks or for months? Make up your mind. Or can't you resist fallaciously stretching the time? Gosh, but you zinged me with that observation. I may not recover.
And when you make out your list of newspapers you want to piss and moan to, you may want to include some of these, all of which wrote about it since I posted my article.

Now, go ahead and repeat yourself again. It’s soooooooooooo endlessly interesting to listen to you drone on and on, yet fail to add anything new to your side of the discussion.
