Perhaps you could explain why you feel that way ... I saw the show. I didn't have a problem with it, I saw two guys arguing about sports. Which is exactly what I expected to see (although I expected to see two different guys...)

Because when I turn on PTI I expect loud, entertaining, intelligent debate, not loud, obnoxious debate.

You know, you are right. I have NEVER EVER seen Tony Kornheiser be obnoxious.

Touche. But, comeon - - Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith... Those are the two most obnoxious people on their station. What's next Jim Rome and Satan?

Yeah, I totally agree. Mike is cool. Tony is the obnoxious kid from grade school who even annoyed the crap out of his teachers.
But the recent combo of Stephen and Skip is horrible. I agree with ESPN's Bill Simmon's father on Stephen A. Smith... "Why is he yelling at me?" You can catch him escalate his voice just for the sake of doing it and then he loses his train of thought or just didn't have anything of substance to say. Look for it. Skip is just stiff. Horribly stiff. He doesn't belong on a sports show. Maybe even on TV at all.

They're trying to follow the format and style set by Kornheiser and Wilbon. The problem is that it comes naturally to them and it's obviously an act for Smith and Bayless.
Smith is the smoother and more entertaining. They both obviously love sports and know what they're talking about. They just aren't suited to this particular show. Bayless is painfully stiff to watch and listen to. He just seems such a primadonna.
The two of them might do better on radio. They need some polish before they're ready for tv.

You all may not care for Skip on PTI but he's hilarious on the radio. He's going to be a guest host for the Rome radio show on Friday. The Cobra always brings it and leaves the PC talk for the other radio sheep. Check him out!
