What story caught your eye these past few days?
Is it...
Shaq leaving LA for Miami?
Kobe's upcoming announcements? Will he go to the Lakers, Clippers or some other team. Will he be found guilty, not guilty or pay the chick off.
Randy Johnson trade rumors?
Marion Jones not qualifying in any event for the Athens Games? Was she given instructions not to do well and miss the Olympics this year?
Greg Lamond accusing Lance Armstrong of using drugs? Why would he say this? Is Greg Lamond jealous of Lance Armstrong's success.
Tiger's inability to stay on top of the leaderboard? How long until he wins another major championship. Is the problem his Swedish love or the break between his coach. Does he have any fight left in him or is he washed up?
Serena losing to a Sharapova? Just how much longer will Serena stay around? Will she move on to being a full time fashion designer?
Venus Williams? Will she ever try to beat her sister in a thrilling match before she retires? It would be a tennis fans dream to see both of the sisters attack each other like they hated one another. Hey girls, It's only a tennis match.
The upcoming Olympics?
Which story caught your eye? My eye is on the Kobe decision today when he announces that he will remain a Laker and sign a 7 year deal. I would be surprised if he chooses to play for the Clippers. Either way the Lakers will remain my team. I wish Shaq well. I heard a rumor Karl Malone has been talking to San Antonio. Gary Payton is our point guard for next season. I hope Tomjanovich opens up the offense and runs some old showtime basketball and get's Payton and Malone together for a pick and role fest. I just want to see a Laker team that competes hard every night and takes the blame for the loss like men. If Kobe does decide to leave than who will the Lakers sign in his place Michael Jordan? Ha ha ha

RE:
Greg Lamond: I can only hope someone tells him how disappointed we are with his critisism of Lance Armstrong. We have to put up with the French , we expect more of fellow Americans.

In the province of ones mind what you believe to be true becomes your truth. Jeolusy mixed with envy and hatred are a bad recipe if you are searching for the truth...........

I am totally disappointed with the remarks that Greg made towards Lance. Just because Greg is a washed up and retired looser who is obviously jealous of Lance's accomplishments, does not give him the right to talk trash. Grow up Greg!

Is it just possible that Greg Lamond knows something that others do not? You mean Pete Rose DID gamble on sports?
You mean Nixon DID burn those tapes? You mean GW Bush WAS absent from NG meetings?
Face it people. It's called greed and ambition.

Knowing and having proof are two different things! I think if there is any proof show me otherwise I will not take you seriously. If in fact later it is shown he did cheat I'll vote not to allow him in the hall of fame!
