Mike Williams' obstacles to USC Comeback

Mike Williams is applying to the NCAA to reinstate his remaining two years of eligibility at the National Champion USC Trojans football program. In order to reach that goal, however, the sophomore from Tampa faces several obstacles:

  • Paying back any monies received from his agent
  • Documenting monies, gifts and other intangibles received from the agent, including, "a vacation to the Bahamas in April and a lengthy stay at the Competitive Edge Sports training center in Duluth, Ga."
  • Documenting and repaying any sponsorship deald signed before the NFL Draft
  • Receiving an academic progress waiver
  • Resolving any academic ineligibilities from the fall semester rumored before his departure from University Park; and,
  • Mending fences with the coaching staff and his teammates over comments he made upon leaving the Trojan squad.

Other than that, Mike Williams' return to USC should be a slam dunk!
