Everyone I talk to has the Lakers crowned as the NBA champions. While I don't have a problem with that. I do know that the Lakers have a lot more work ahead of them.
The Lakers are no shoe in for the championship. They are a work in progress. After 2 rounds, the work continues friday night in Minnesota. The T-wolves are hungry and talented team led by mvp Kevin Garnett, Sam Cassell, and Latrell Sprewell.
The Lakers didn't fare well in the regular season winning 1 of 4 games. This isn't the regular season any more. Mark Madsen the ex-laker got away with holding and pushing Shaq. Will see how much holding and grabbing he will be allowed to do in the playoffs. Michael the 84 million dollar kandi man will contribute his fouls against Shaq. Ervin Johnson will get the start vs the Diesel.
The Lakers coaching staff after finding out the T-wolves are the next opponent prepare to come up with a defense that can limit Garnett, Cassell and Sprewell. The Lakers goal for the first two games at Minnesota is to steal one game. It would be nice if they could take both games but no need to be greedy one would do nicely.
