Move On

The Chicago Bears now are interested in Browns QB Tim Couch. Packers' GM/head coach Mike Sherman wants him, but Couch now has some bargaining power. Since I don't see him as the man to replace Brett Favre, it would be best for the Pack to deal long enough to make the Bears overpay for him.

Couch should be a good fit ... (Below threshold)
Tom:

Couch should be a good fit for either team or for any team in need of a quality backup. Houston? Denver? Dallas? NJ Jets? The problem to this point would seem to be that Couch is hoping to sign as a potential starter (which rules out GB, Denver and Houston, NJ Jets, and several others)

It's also too early to be signing the guy you think will replace Favre.

I also think Kordell would be a great signing for either GB or Denver.

As long as I'm assured Kord... (Below threshold)

As long as I'm assured Kordell would never play I wouldn't complain about signing him.
