3 Million and Counting

Chavez Ravine each baseball season has recorded over 3 million customers.
As the beer begins to chill, hotdogs begin to cook, and baseball fans and players anticipate the crack of the bat on opening day.

How can the Dodgers manage to attract more than 3 million fans a season despite what occurs upstairs, in the clubhouse, or on the field.

A couple from Boston (How good of an omen is this?) the McCourts purchased the majority of the Dodgers. Darrell Evans was replaced as the GM.

Kevin Brown is in New York preparing for a potential playoff run.
Eric Gagne lost his arbitration hearing and the Dodgers will pay him 3 million less than he wanted. Darren Driefort hasn't played since, macarana.
Every Dodger player and employee at Chavez Ravine can feel like Odalis Perez, expendable. Nonetheless the pitching staff remains the strength of the Dodgers.

The time spent making Adrian Beltre the scapegoat for the unproductive offense is b.s. What about the rest of the Dodger roster? The example of defense wins championships doesn't apply to the Dodgers situation. The anemic offense is as punchless as last year. Hopefully someone has some magic dust and they can rub it on the bat.

Ultimately the burden of proof to win falls on the Jim Tracy. As the old regime upstairs quickly disappears, Tracy is running out of time and excuses. Change is coming it's inevitable in the clubhouse.

As opening day draws closer the Dodger fans look at the product this year and not much has changed since last year. The Dodgers fans continue to consistently support the team no matter what happens on the field. The ability to keep the fans in the seats is grounded in the love for baseball, the friendships created at the ballpark, and undying commitment of loyal fans to support the family they love.
