Bulger Will Get Snaps in Offseason

SportingNews.com reports:

QB Kurt Warner may be given a chance to earn back his starting job in St. Louis, but it's a safe bet that Marc Bulger will be the Rams' quarterback on opening day. Coach Mike Martz believes Bulger can make a precipitous jump from last year to this year, in part because Bulger will be better prepared. During the 2003 offseason, the Rams gave Warner almost all the snaps in minicamp and training camp. Bulger had little experience practicing against blitzes and in special situations, and it showed. One of Bulger's weaknesses has been throwing deep balls, but he has the ability to throw deep, and Martz believes that will become a strength next season. . . .
