Rose Admits He Bet on Baseball (Wizbang Sports)

That's the big revelation in Pete Rose's new autobiography coming out next week. Whether this helps Rose get reinstated into baseball and awarded a place in the Hall of Fame remains to be seen.

David Pinto at Baseball Musings links to a Phil Sheridan op-ed saying this doesn't change anything. David also points out that a fraction of baseball writers can keep Rose off the HOF ballot.
