Former Cincinnati Heach Coach Rick Minter was hired Monday as South Carolina's defensive coordinator. Minter also served as an assistant to Lou Holtz at Notre Dame.
The postseason coaching shuffle in Columbia, among other topics, was discussed in a column by Ron Morris in The State on Sunday.
