Why Go for Two?

You know the Packers had a pretty good win Sunday when the number one item of talk on local radio is why Mike Sherman went for the two-point conversion when his team was up by 11. According to "The Chart" he should have just sent out Ryan Longwell.

I don't know what Mike Sherman's reasons were, but I do know that coaches should throw out the chart. It is based upon illogic and more often than not leads the coach to make a poor decision.

At one of his press confernces, Sherman said he didn't go for two earlier in the game because it was too early. He doesn't follow the chart until late in the third quarter and after. It still doesn't explain his reasoning. What probably happened it Sherman made a mistake. Not costly though.
