Jets Moving to Manhattan?

Business Week (via the NY Daily News) reports that the Jets may be moving to a retractable-dome stadium on the West Side of Manhattan by 2009. The stadium would be expected to aid New York City's bid for the 2012 Olympics.

The $1-billion stadium would include a convention center as part of its complex. The Jets would pay for most of it along with loans from the NFL. An undetermined amount of the cost would be paid by taxpayers. Mayor Bloomberg and Governor Pataki declined comment.
