Dismal

The Chargers returned to the team that I had seen every week with the lone exception being the Viking victory. The Chargers played, possibly, the worst game I have ever watched of them. The Chargers had 21 yards on 29 plays going into the fourth quarter. The Charger defense didn't force a punt from the Broncos the entire game.

This beat down emphasizes my point that it doesn't matter who is starting at quarterback. The team has talent and the coaching of this team is unable to best utilize that talent, but rather do so in such a inept way that these ass-kickings are all too common for the Chargers this season.

Biggest dissappointments, as they have been all season thus far, both the offensive and defensive lines. Flutie was literally being rushed the instant the ball hit his hands, regardless if in the shotgun or not. There was no hope to establish any pass threat at all because of this. The defensive line, on the other hand, continued to offer no resistance, whether pass or run.

Marty needs to be fired today.
