BYU can't warm up enough to win at home

Going into a much anticipated game with in-state rival University of Utah, the BYU Cougars were licking wounds from a dismal 2 and 8 season. There is always pride involved with a rival game, but none more than BYU vs. Utah.

The weather was a major factor in today’s game. Temperatures so cold only the most die hard fans would dare to show up. But BYU fans are amongst the most loyal in all of college football, and most are used to seeing a much different Cougar team, especially one who hasn't been shut out in 28 years.

As far as the game goes it was low scoring and unemotional. Utah managed to score a field goal in the 2nd quarter and that was the game, 3-0. Neither team could really do anything. Both teams are high in the Rocky Mountains and are used to playing in tough conditions. I guess no matter what you’re used to, once your hands are frozen there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. All in all it was a disappointing game for both teams.
