Bill vs. Bill Recap

So the Tuna comes to town last night and gets shut out. The Pats move to 8-2, yes people, I said 8-2. Can you believe it?

The eight wins by Brady & Co. haven't been pretty. As a matter of fact, you can chalk up those eight wins to the defense. And speaking of defense, how about that 4th and 1 stop by Teddy Bruschi? The guy is a maniac and just the right person to be playing middle linebacker for this team. He's fantastic on and off the field - one of the class acts of the league.

As a sidebar to the game, the media beat the Bill/Bill relationship story like it was a dead horse. It was nice to see the two embrace at the end of the game. Yes, I am sure that there were some issues in the past when the Pats Bill left the Jets, one day after the Cowboys Bill announced that the Pats Bill was going to be his successor. However, I think the two have gotten past it and have a respect for each other - maybe not a friendship, but a respect.

The 2003 Patriots are surely earning my respect. This, my friends, could be the year....
