The Last Stand

Today the Red Sox face off against the A's in game three of the first round of the playoffs. I must admit, chances are slim that the boys will win three straight. It amazes me how a team this talented - offensively at least - can't score runs when they need to. And how about that defense in game two? The Red Sox entire year came to a screeching halt - so it appears - in the 2nd inning of game two when the A's scored 5 runs on two hits. Errors galore contributed to that travesty. Stay tuned for my post mortem (maybe) post regarding the Red Sox season if they loose today.

What's the expression? Cowboy Up? Whatever...it's over.
