The Sabres #2 center, Daniel Briere, was injured today in an off-ice workout.
The Sabres called up Domenic Pittis, which forced them to send Ryan Miller, who was the starting goalie in the first two games, back to Rochester.
That adds to a long list of forwards currently injured on the Sabres.
